Mindful Meditation during Quarantine

HEADSPACE is offering a variety FREE mediations on their website during the crisis.

SMILING MIND Thrive Inside is a special initiative to help you stay calm and healthy in the physical constraints of your home,  while remaining calm and healthy inside your mind.

CALM A mindfulness meditation app that allows you to choose between different guided meditations or simply just meditation music. It works online and on iOS & Android.

CHOPRA CENTERED LIFESTYLE On Deepak Chopra’s own website, he offers a number of guided meditations that each have their own different theme. They range from 5 minutes in length to 1 hour and are all completely free.

STOP, BREATHE & THINK The app features around 30 free sessions. For many of them, you can choose between different lengths.  Most of the meditations are short, up to 11 minutes, and feature simple introductory practices like Body Scan, Forgiving Yourself, and Joy. You can also simply set a timer and sit in silence, learn different breathing techniques, or listen to relaxing forest sounds.

UCLA MINDFUL APP With this easy-to-use app, you can practice mindfulness meditation anywhere, anytime with the guidance of the UCLA Mindful Awareness Research Center. Scientific research shows mindfulness can help manage stress-related physical conditions, reduce anxiety and depression, cultivate positive emotions, and help improve overall physical health and well-being.

Calm is a good meditation app but it costs 14$/month.
